I assume you are writing this with respect to what PCGS cert numbers correspond to when Phil was still at PCGS. It might be that the imaging team had little interaction with the data for cert generation, but since Phil left PCGS months ago to take an imaging position at GC, I don't know if he would be the person to contact today regarding those cert numbers.

Anyone have a ballpark cert number range where the changeover from Phil occurred?
His departure was announced in the middle of November. I had 2 submissions received the 28th of November that had TrueViews not done by Phil. The certs started with 48xxxxxx.
I have a “476” that I just bought that was a mid five figure coin and it doesn’t look like a Phil image based on how nice in hand vs the TV.
I too had a batch last year that started 472 that had the white balance way off.
Months ago, I emailed customer service about deleting this unattractive True View from the database. I was told no, that they could not do that. I don’t remember the exact verbiage, but, it had something to do with the wishes of a future owner of the coin.
This image below is what I was able to produce with help from a friend who was able to photoshop out dandruff specs that are all over the coin in the holder. I have not submitted any coins in the last twelve months. I plan to hold out until this issue is resolved.
I am actually kinda surprised at this result. It's actually not bad at all... This just came in yesterday? After taking my own photos it is not terrible except for the bright yellow hue. Better than some of the others I've seen in this thread though!

The TV makes your coin look like it has a jaundice problem, not sure I would consider that as OK. I know if I were looking to buy that TV would turn me off to the coin.

Yeah I changed my mind after I compared them. When I first saw the TV I was like ok. Not bad... but once I imaged it myself and compared I realized how bad it was lol... that's why my post changed tone halfway through

Stumbled on this one in the wild and shrieked in horror. Seller’s photos below it.
