The very first coin store I ever went into was called “The Wooden Nickel”.

    Got me interested.

For humorous, how about “Ye Olde Coin Shoppe”?
My old eBay store was “Copperindian Coins & Collectibles”.

As a kid I went to a shop called Aksarben Coins. Of course I was living in Nebraska at the time.

You are a dealer, right? What is the actual name of your shop?

I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

I don't have a BM. My online name on eBay or Whatnot is "EveryThingValuable". That's the actual name I would use, but that name isn't funny. 😃

Best, funniest, and most successful coin shop name ever -

Coins ‘n Things, in Bridgewater MA

This family business was founded in 1973, and ‘Things’ turned out pretty darn well for them, according to Wikipedia:

I just used my name when I first organized and applied for business license. But I always wanted to use Diamond Jim's Coins even though I dont buy diamonds, I liked the name. Too late to change now, course I know a guy who opened up locally, and changed his name three or four times along locations to avoid repercussions. he was a sheister.

    AG/AU Coins.

    Think atomic weights……

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Best coin store ever was in a town in Colorado. The town was either Este's Park or Loveland and the store was called either The Miners Place or The Miners Palace. Circa 1973.
I spent a day there once upon a time when my family went for a vacation.
When you walked in the right side was full of postcards, plastic crap and worthless souvenirs.
The left side was filled with glass cases displaying rare coins.
I bought an 1855 Large cent someone had scratched with a pin. 2 walking liberty halves, and a copy of the brand new book Photograde.
I was just lucky to still have my shoes left by the time my dad found me and dragged me out. James
