2023 Mint and Proof Set Composites

Has anyone else noticed that there is no 2023 Mint or Proof Set Composite available? Surely someone has requested this set by now, although you'd figure they'd add these automatically.

  • If you mean the PCGS number to add your set to inventory then yes I agree. The list stops at 2020? I have tried sending an email to customer service but they referred me here.

Does a moderater monitor this forum?

I think you're talking about something else. There are 2022 Mint and Proof Sets. Sounds like you are talking about adding a coin to an existing set and there is a way to do that.

There is a way to do a set request but you have to put in all of the coin numbers for the composite yourself. I haven't had the time or motivation to do so yet. I just thought the annual mint and proof sets would be in such demand that PCGS would do it automatically.

There is a problem with the Lincoln sets as well, some of the sets have the 2024-P and D coins added and some sets don't.
I would have hoped that if they were going to add the 2024 coins to the sets they would have done it to all the sets at the same time. There is 1 set that they added the 2024-P to the list but not the 2024-D and they both belong in the set. I don't know how it is with other series, just the ones that I have that contain moderns

That might be because of me. As I acquire 2024 coins I have been asking for the slots to be added but you can't make the request if you don't own one. But yeah, it would be great if they would proactively add all of the new coins as they are issued and assigned PCGS coin numbers.

    So it's your fault :)
Now why don't you get the 2024-D coin added so if/when I buy them I can add them, to ALL the sets :)

That's the problem though, I'm not working on all of the sets, just a few of them...

See how the list just stops at 2020? I need the numbers for sets newer than that, thanks.

For what it is worth, I have had to request individually 2024 slots for every single Kennedy set by going thru the dog and pony show of adding each coin as a "new slot" request or "add to an existing slot".
I have 22 Kennedy registry sets.
It is a pain as it the same coin cert# but it is never automatically added to all of the different sets.
Sometimes, I must also have to add the pictures (front and back) and then wait for them to approve the request (which usually is very quick).

On a side note, the 2022 proof set was not added until 5/16/23.

Has anyone here requested the 2023 proof set thru the "New Set Request"?

So I formally asked for the 2023 Proof set be added by submitting the 5 coin cert# requirements today.
    Lets see how this goes.
I hope more will do the same.

Just 5 coins? There should be 25 I think. 5 proof quarters, (x2) clad and silver, 4 innovation dollars (x2 Reg + Rev Proof), Native Dollar, Half dollar (clad and silver), dime (clad and silver), nickel, cent.

In order to request a "New Set" (in this case the 2023 proof set) you must provide 5 coin certification #'s that would be part of the set.
You do not need to list every coin that would go into the set. They will do this when they publish the set.
There are 25 coins in total that would be required for this set.
I have already added this set on the MyCollect.com site that Ian Russell and Todd Pollock have created.
I hope this clears things up for you.

OK, I would not expect the registry team to fill in the set composite completely or accurately.
Sorry I don't use that other retarded website so I would have no idea about that.
