Hard to find book and good price. Tempted to stock up and sell them for Gilboy prices in a few years, if only I had more room ;)

    I don't own his book.

Can someone tell me what his comments are regards a 1736 MO 2 reales .......I picked one up iraw in Madrid recently.

I was told it was not one of the overdates.

I am traveling today, but can post the Yonaka page for the 1763/2 when I get home tonight if no one beats me to it.

Yonaka shows 2 varieties of the over 3 variety both listed as scarce. He lists a total of 13 varieties for 1736. Is it a good one to have I would say yes just like many of the 1/2 reales to 4 reales they are much tougher than the 8 reales in general.

The one I bought raw is nicely toned and has a shot at MS imo.....no overdate , I showed it to Dunigan ...he said it was tougher to fined as a straight date

On the 1736/3 2R overdate that I asked, I just went to have a look in more detail and have a scratch. from the D to the crown, so I will skip this one. It is not easy to find raw 2R pillar types in nice condition and without details.
