this is probably my favorite ancient coin collector's website...
https://www.ancientmoney.org/
who among us is so humble as to picture an Ides of March denarius obverse side up?

Thanks for posting the AncientMoney website.

The owner of that website is a friend of mine and both a passionate collector and photographer: his high resolution images show coins in a level of detail rarely seen (and that I can't come close to matching).
I'd also be remiss without a shameless plug for my own ancients showcase website, out of date for some new purchases and woefully behind on writeups but still a decent representation of the "story" I'm hoping to tell through my collection:

Any feedback is very welcomed!
You website and images are fantastic. I appreciate the descriptions and historical context to bring to life the issue. Well done in telling a story with your collection.

I had never seen that “Eid Mar” denarius, very nice, as I am assembling denarius around the assassination. Thanks!
Fantastic coins SmEagle. WOW.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Fantastic

Fantastic collection agree!
Just curious if you intend to add a gold aureus or silver denarius judea capta ?

Thanks! And I do indeed have a Judaea Capta aureus (which should be on my website already, but including here in case it isn't rendering for some reason).
It has an extensive pedigree as well, back to the famous Biaggi collection and undoubtedly from the Boscoreale hoard:
WOW! 😄

If there were a SmEagle Coin Museum, I would make a point to visit some day. Truly exceptional pieces! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you posted that link, because your collection is the one I think of first, when it comes to ancient eyecandy.
What an incredible Judaea Capta aureus, so much history, and with that unmistakable Boscoreale look.
Congratulations!
If I may, I"ll throw in my denarius, as an illustration of the Judaea Capta motif in silver.
That’s a sweet Judaea Capta denarius, too! I think the one I used to have was only a VG.
nice owl
Looks A+ SmEagle.
Super well done!!
Peace
Very nice collection!!! Thanks for sharing. Adding a gold aureus is on my bucket list in the next 1-2 years.

Zowie, now that's a collection! How many years in the making if I may ask?
Thanks @RSP ! It's the result of about 15 years of serious focus on ancients.
Fantastic and kudos to you for your patience and perseverance
