On eBay is is common for sellers to have a buyer cancel because of a drop in price. It happened 3 times to me. I guess some people just want a free way to speculate on medals' price movement.
These jerks are the scum of the earth.
But how common is it to cancel on a rise in price?

Dude or dudess the Buyet cancelled the order.
I just withdrew my for sale post.
I know. And I repeat the rhetorical question to the other poster: how common is it for the buyer to cancel on a rise in price?
You need to look at who I responded to and what their comment was.

So I posted junk silver for sale at last Friday's spot price in the Precious Metal forum.
A seasoned CU member reached out to buy xxx plus $10 shipping. Payment via ppff.
I immediately packed the coins up in a bubble mailer awaiting said ppff info & address so I can ship today.
Of course if it's too good to be true, .....it is.
The said member cancelled the order.
Case closed.
😟
Well Dang if that was ME and it sounds like it was...I couldn't get anyone else on board.
I was looking at purchasing all the Benjamins you had but not one person out of the 10 I contacted got back with me with interest.
I even sent them your random sample picture. I actually just got off work and back home what did I miss?? I didn't read all the comments...
Dang I probably have more labor in the lot than you do just looking at saving some shipping costs and keeping them closer to spot.
I talked to my Dad and he said if I wanted to up the count he would pick up another $20 face but he didn't have a need for them.
He just bought a new jeep and his focus is on that making it his own.
I wasn't looking at them for myself but for a local coin club as raffle prizes.
The few that contacted me about that would prefer.999 and gold.
This is a really sad thread honestly. I know, I know, if I can't say anything nice, say nothing. But, seriously, it's this kind of crap why things get tighter and tighter until we lose what many of us enjoy here in the forum, which is being able to talk, rub elbows, meet new friends, discuss, debate, etc.
Where is that famous trash can pic that @IkesT uses. This thread needs to be in it

I just don't understand all the drama and rudeness from the OP.
I've had deals fall through. Not just on bullion but in everyday business.
What's the big deal.
I can only imagine how the OP would react to a return.
In my mind people have the right to cancel an agreement. They also have a right to return.
Just don't get it.

You seem to do both (delete and edit) on a routine basis. Both can be a problem.

But but butt is it against forum rules.
I'm not putting a bow & arrow to your head to read nor comment on my post.

That's correct. You're also under no obligation to make friends here.
With "friends" like you who needs enemy.
I'm not here to make " friends"
The end
I was tryin' to git my 50th "agree" with this thread since today is my 1 year anniversary w/o being banned.
Lulz, you're just here to get "agrees". I bet you're fun at parties...

Who's Lutz??!
I wasn't referring to myself. But you treat everyone as though they are disposable.
Not the buyer. Can they be my friend?
It's this guy.
Sure. Befriend the guy who backed out on the deal and ignore the people who took an interest in your post. Totally logical.
Now we're getting dramatic. My misfotune was my 6th grade teacher.
I thought she was the prettiest & sexiest teach in the whole school.

Good call.
Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.

This thread has been the most confusing and useless I’ve read yet.😳
Can’t believe I wasted however minutes I’ve burned reading it!

Looks like Mike got his 50th "agree" and thrown in forum jail at the same time on his one year anniversary. Who would've thunk it.

He fought hard to land himself in jail.
Oh well, there's always Facebook. They apparently love him over there.
