Post Some Nice Classic Head Gold

Several years ago before these became more popular, I was able to find some beautiful and colorful AU-MS examples with some ease. These have seemingly disappeared. Post some up! I’m looking forward to seeing some old friends and likely some I’ve never seen.
PS: Props to the great book and collection by Haynor that helped bring knowledge and appreciation for this type.

Classic heads are under appreciated imo.

By my experience, very few slabbed XF45s look like this. Most have had their original skins scrubbed off in an attempt to upgrade to AU50. This one is IMO absolutely beautiful for the grade. and more attractive than some in lower mint state holders.
I have to say they're the ugliest gold coins but still have a charm to them.

An 1838 P, C and D $5 gold set.
That's an old friend. Lovely example and off the charts eye appeal. If you want any history on it, send me a message.
The only one I have.
I love the Classic Head series. I’ve put together a full set minus the Crosslet 4 (not interested in that one). Here’s a recent 1834 duplicate that I picked up. F12 CAC. HM-8, R4. I don’t typically like sub-VF classic heads, but I love this one.
I don’t typically like sub vf anything, but I make exceptions for coins like that. The crust supersedes the grade on that one.

Great coins! Anyone have one of the Virginian Collection pieces?
Nice, N63 by the looks of it?

Yes, it's a bit better than mine.
The only one I have. I can't seem to get as clear a photo like the ones posted above.

That would be great. The system is not allowing me to send messages right now. I will try again later. I picked this one up from Doug Winter.2 years ago after the Central States show.

Here’s my pair. While purchased separately, they were each originally just in the whole grade. I liked each one so much, I sent each one back to PCGS for Reconsideration. Despite PCGS having said when first graded that neither merited a plus, they now agreed with me they erred, so each one now has a plus.
Here's a link to "Nu-Tilt". While it shows the luster very nicely, the coin in hand is MUCH closer to the photos shown here below, and not nearly as bad as the nu-tilt implies:
