1992 D Lincoln proof?

I found a 1992 d Lincoln cent that looks like a proof coin but bares a Denver mint mark. Very shiny but does not have the frosted details. Not sure if it's a mint mistake

Not a proof if it has a Denver mint mark.
Possibly a plated cent. Not sure what you mean by Mint mistake.

Proof coins are not made by "mistake".

"Proof" refers to a method of manufacture, not condition. Denver has made a few proof commemorative coins, but not proof sets where a cent would be included.

Modern Denver mint coins are often seen with shiny surfaces due in part to being struck at higher pressures. The coins sometimes appear "proof-like".

I will go with the plated theory.

It does look like it has been plated. Also, the US Mint never makes a mistake.
