I love "Rusty Truck" Toning on Coins

There is something so beautiful about this kind of toning on coins. Reminds me of an old rusty truck or old rusty tractor. This Peace Dollar got a PCGS Ms64+ grade. Some might say its ugly, but I find it kind of beautiful. Maybe that goes to show the line between ugly and beautiful can be a fine one.

ya gotta love the old gmc's
I have a couple with a similar look that I love. When it comes to these fugly toners, some of them definitely have faces that only certain collectors could love.
Nice toning!

Those are some super nice coins, I love the Fat Man. FYI you can include multiple images in a single post, you don't have to make a separate post for each image.

@WingedLiberty1957 I completely agree with you! I really dislike blast white vintage coins that look like they were minted yesterday, but yet are 100+ years old! Much prefer the crusty toners!
It is a cool look. Here are some I have with similar toning.

That's the most colorful rusted pickup truck that I've ever seen- and some pretty attractive toned coins, too.

Really? That looks like environmental damage to me.
I'll wager the coin didn't look like that when it went into that holder over 20 years ago. It was dipped and not properly rinsed.
My advice to beginning collectors is to avoid something like this.
RickO would have been all over this thread.
That vivid yellow/amber/orange is difficult to find in a nice shade. Very nice, couple of mine

How about this with floating ring natural rust inclusions.
Love me some toning, but not of this kind.
