This beats the parking find errors some people some people post here now and then.
Here is a real brockage. The fact that the piece is a contemporary counterfeit of an 18th century British half penny is not important here. It's the only brockage I have in my collection.
Someone is on a severe bender here. Closeup of an 1823 date? Only on the photo of the actual coin!

I wish that we could know whether OP really believes this or is just trolling. I mean...it's so beyond absurd, it has to be a troll, right?

It's way past time that all new members provide a phone number that a code is sent to in order to activate your account. Bankrupt these trolls with the amount of burner phones they will need to buy.

cab you explain tthis to me plkease . thanks
look at the glass half full - at least it's an interesting button for the PCGS button forum
First of all, a simple google search such as Navy motif button would've answered your question. Second, post it on the metal detecting forum where it belongs. It's a button, the back was made of iron and has long since rusted away, the front is gold plated brass.
You shouldn't let people push your buttons.
Bwahahahaha I'll gladly take the "troll" label given by the OP for everyone who laughs.
IT'S A BUTTON!!! The absurdity of this topic with the drinking and sniffing glue memes has me dying of laughter!

Not at all. We're lamenting the fact that we stopped doing drugs and your posts are encouraging us to start doing them again.
I've found about 5 of that button with a metal detector. Here is a very similar pattern. The gold gilt is gone and the iron back is still intact.
And another.
wow two more mirrored brockage late stage die caps, what are the chances?

Yep, I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt, but this one pushes all doubt away.
Its a shame that this Forum has come to this. The mentality to come up with such nonsense leads me to absolutely believe this individual and I use that word loosely is a troll looking to waste our time because he knows that the members here always want to =lend a helping hand to newbies. It just that this individual is a crazy and therein lies the problem
I'm SURE that is a button.
I was trying to be nice. I didn't know this was yet another troll

I'm a little confused. > @DCW said:
On the bright side, it's the first coin he posted this week that wasn't a double denomination error.
Give him a chance. Maybe he hasn't stopped increasing the magnification.
Yes, he could well be jmlanzaf's next protégé.
I love how every set of pictures is of two completely different things yet somehow we're supposed the be convinced by this evidence that op is right. Only thing op is doing is reinforcing how wrong he is.
At this point, it’s doubtful that he’s trying to convince anyone of anything. And the only reinforcing he’s doing is that of his role as a troll.
