I had my eyes on a few Fairmont coins yesterday. My maximums were exceeded before the live auction started. I thought prices were quite strong in general especially on CAC coins.

Interesting die trial selling today in SB. No it’s not mine. Pedigree is Brian Hendelson.

I wanted this but it went to the moon and way over comps.

I had another epic fail with the Stacks app. Lot shows I'm winning until I am outbid, at which time the bid button disappears and I have no way to participate. Cost the seller a thousand dollars easily, and myself a piece I've admired for a long time.
Oh well, probably the universe saving me from myself 😆
I was able to win one Civil War token that is the plate specimen in Fuld's Storecard book. Last sold in 2013 in the Stephen L. Tanenbaum estate for only $50 less than it sold for yesterday, it is a very red example of the D. Skidmore Hotel token from Seneca Falls.
One of my favorites, a very cool design by William H Bridgens.

I have tried to find this example after seeing pictures of it online and in books for so very long! Can't wait to examine it in hand

Actually, I had a similar issue for the first time in awhile. And this was the coin!! So, I figured you would be after it, I thought this was one of the true bargains of the sale based on strong (appropriately so) numbers for a lot. But, my internet hiccuped and I lost the live auction 2 lots before, and couldn’t get back on in time! One of the best I’ve ever seen of this, which is sooooo underrated to find nice with no spots, problems, etc. congrats!!
