Two browsers are warning me that site is not secure.

It's a wiki, it doesn't need to be secure. Unless you're using the same password for every website, but nobody does that right?
I use different passwords for everything. I was always told to when growing up and so it's ingrained in me. You're correct though, as long as the password is unique it should be no worries. I use Brave Browser (security and privacy focused) and I've never got a security warning.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
There is a large-scale depreciation of older insecure SSL ciphers going on (this is basically perpetual - as machines get faster, ciphers that used to be secure aren't). As part of this, the browsers are accepting fewer and fewer of the older ones. Sites need to be upgraded to support the newer, more secure ones.
According to this: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1003802/vamworld-2-0-up-and-running they are self-hosting on Amazon AWS.
You can access VAMWorld using http:// not https:// and you should ask the site for their plans to upgrade.

Love me some VamWorld... much less traffic, but respectful and research oriented.
