Having sold my 1955 Topps Hank Aaron SGC-96 late last year...I needed to find a replacement. Here it is, recently purchased.

Here’s one I bet no one expected to see here.
picked up some very nice A G cards on Ebay,
I have a big collection of A G cards ..
That Aaron is all THAT.
I needed the 1961 for my auto set and I since I can't afford the 1958 card in PSA8, a PSA7 will do.
Boy Meets World was one of my go to shows back in the early/mid 90’s. No idea Topenga made it to a card though.

Nice card! The fed just took money from me again this year. Glad I could now pay my fair share. 😩

Thanks.

Wow starting out with a bang!! Love the Aaron and Yaz.
Bad pics from my phone camera - these came today. A 1960 Leaf Cepeda is on the way too for some reason I like this set - the black and white photos are lit in a way that they somehow pop. The Herzog just seems like a steal $85 for a HOF rookie.
Wow… some absolute bangers.
The BEST use!

Hoping to cross to PSA and be an upgrade to my Killebrew Master set.
hey brad31...
don't worry bout the pics...Cool Cards...
Really nice looking 5! Unless there is paper loss on the back think it should cross as a 5.
Had a 74 card submission from SGC come back. A lot of mid-grade 50s and 60s stuff, but happy with these.
@JoeBanzai thats a crazy nice Venz!
@ColoradoCollector I’m loving that Boggs. I had one of those signed in person in 2016:

Here's the back.
I was scrolling through Twitter one day and saw that it was coming out. It was a must buy for me.
A couple of 1971 Topps high numbers for the collection:
BaltimoreYankee...
Those are beautiful team cards...would not look out of place in 8.5 holders...and would be in 9 holders if it would have white borders.
I don’t know what it is but I’ve always loved the 71 team sets more than any other year. Those are so cool.
scored some Topps pre-production/proofs, no auto or serial numbers. Seller said they came from a collector that got them from Topps when they lost their basketball license. These are indeed legit, they even have the same dimple from the press plate my PSA graded auto/serial numbered copy has.

It looks like we have a new trend on this board. I pulled these from a Leaf Pop Century break. This is now my second favorite Leaf product after Draft Metal. The Wagner is 1/1. Kudos to Leaf for a fun product.

Derek Jeter’s autograph has morphed into a kid drawing a hillside.
As a Mickey Mantle collector, there’s a lot of items to track and hunt. Some are easy enough to find and some are impossible. Population reports can be misleading on oddballs, of course, but based on my own experience and the PSA Population of the Mantle (4), I think it’s safe to say these have some genuine rarity. PSA classifies this as a 1962 Yankees Team Issue and part of what makes it so unique is the envelope which features cropped images of the M n M boys.

Those are very cool...and not surprising rare especially with the envelope.
Thanks, Monte!
Your new 55T Hank Aaron card is quite beautiful. You can really pick ‘em!

In today:
Some Red Sox parallels for my PC.
The 2009 Topps Pedroia is the Black parallel, #'d to 58.
20 years ago I would have never bought a Yankees Clemens. I guess 4 Championships have made me a little softer.
On it's way.

I came across this '71 palmer randomly on ebay and it looked so nice that I bought it to upgrade my set. I couldn't find the stain online but I figured I would see it when it arrived... still nope. So. It's a nice looking '71 palmer and I figured I would share. But also curious if someone can point me to a spot to review more closely for this stain.
This is a new slab so the images are also available on psacard.com.
My guess is a touch of wax on the front....hold it at an angle under good light and see if you can find it. If you do find it, it is pretty easy to rub off after you crack it out. Good luck with your re-sub.
On the back of the card looks like a very small mark on the shoulder.
Might be the piece of leather from the glove.
Nice card. I don't see anything

Just got back my Nolan Ryan 300th win signed ticket back from PSA. I was more shocked that the auto got a 9 than the ticket got a 10. For sure thought it woulda been the other way around. Fun fact: someone pointed out it was ticket 0001966. 1966 was Nolan Ryans debut.
Picked up this 1957 Braves WS ticket at a show Saturday. Already mailed it off to get graded. I now have games 3,4, and 5. Now I just need to track down the New York games.
Finally picked up one of THE cards for any Griffey collector. The 1992 Donruss Elite is a contuation of the 1991 set, serial number limited and holofoil. Since so many 1992 Donruss was produced, hitting one of these was a needle in a haystack.
Also the rookie card of the almost HOF inductee for 2024. Just 5 votes off, I am sure he will get there next year.

3 for the PC popped today. Maybe the Cruz will be available down the line. The UD Promo is a lot harder to find in high grade than I had expected.

That santo ‘71 is so incredible. Best I have ever seen. If you have room in your will…
Awesome! I was there!

Two in today:
Me too! I was 11. My grandfather brought my dad to see Warren Spahn's 300th win. The night of the game I was going to sleepover at a friends house. My dad called and asked if I wanted to go. I didn't want to initially, and my friend and his dad were like "this is a once in a lifetime experience, you need to go!" So glad I listened to them. I think my dad was pretty happy that he could share a milestone like this with his son like my grandpa shared with him. I have my original ticket and the certificate framed in my basement.
Two years later my dad took me to the first two games when Yount was going for 3000. The third game he couldn't go because of a work trip. So he got me and my friend two tickets and my grandfather dropped us off at County Stadium. I dont know how we found him after the game as that may have been the largest County Stadium attendance ever. Ha!
Cheers!

Pulled the trigger on a 1985 Donruss set.
Pretty happy with the centering. Of course the Puckett was the worst.😞
Sorry about the lousy pictures.
