The TrueView for this one is a fairly decent representation of the coin, though the coin is a little more glossy, and the coloring in hand is a bit more even than portrayed, especially on the reverse.

The coin has been in my 7070 for ~30 years, and it was cracked from an old ANACS holder.
If you like, you can guess the grade that each of the TPGs assigned, as I still have the original ANACS sticker I will show later.

Yep, if someone needs to be “right” on the PCGS grade that badly, go for it. But it won’t help with the ANACS grade.

An even 53, maybe 55 on a good day. Great coin, Greg. Love those half cents and large cents.

AU-58, if it really has the glossy finish. If not, it's in the AU-55 range.

The Small 6, Stemless variety is the most common 1806 half cent. That reverse die was really a durable. It was used for the most common half cent die varieties for 1804 (C-13), 1805 (C-1) and 1806 (C-1).
