1968 D Washington Quarter- Extremely rare

I just seen on ebay an extremely rare 1968 D Washington Quarter with the Fs 801/ DDR-002 Variety, Last time i seen one at auction i bet was 5 yrs ago or better. Great to see there has been another one found, Something that rare, I felt i should share the news

Once again, this advertisement belongs in the Buy, Sell, & Trade Forum. And once again, the DDR-002 is a different variety than the FS-801.
Not many people are aware of the DDO-002, and apparently not many have been submitted to TPG's, so we do not have good population data on this particular variety.
That being said, VarietyVista reports that this variety can be found in mint sets, which means that it is a) likely to be orders of magnitude more common than the FS-801 and b) will typically be found in mint state.
Any buyer purchasing the coin as an FS-801 is likely to be very disappointed when they realize the difference.
