I found a 1994 penny with a messed up line in the memorial. Just wanted a opinion on it.

This is just post-minting damage.

Nice to see someone using the correct terminology for PMD.
The original meaning is “Post Minting Damage” which means it was damaged
after the coin was struck. Somewhere along the line it was shortened to “Post
Mint Damage” which could mean that it was damaged after it left the mint.
I like the term "post-minting" because it includes damage while still at the mint, but after the strike.
