So I went through a coworker's inherited coin collection recentlly.
And I posted about it - My post
It's been about 3 months since then and she brought this into work yesterday...
"I forgot about this one coin..."
Wow...I did a quick search and sure looks like a 1917 $1 Mckinley Memorial Commemorative Gold One Dollar coin...and it has some really creamy luster, it's lovely.
I would love to give my co-worker (who happens to be one of my mentors in my chosen career) some great news about this...she deserves it

It appears to be a genuine 1916 McKinley gold dollar. At about MS63 grade the approximate value is $450.
