The guys I’ve met and not even the coins are what really drove me to become a member. It’s rare in anything you do that you enjoy being around such a high percentage of the people in any group.

Before I was an associate member, @habaraca invited me to be his guest at the “corn roast” at the 2021 ANA in Rosemont. Howard Scharfman threw a party at the top of the Hyatt Regency to show his Chicago Set. It was semi-formal with free drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

After several gin & tonics @habaraca decided to use the poster of the Chicago set they handed out as a megaphone and yelled “hello” and “what’s uuuup” at random passersby.

I thought if the rest of the club is like this, I’ll definitely fit in. ……Then I met Todd and the rest is redacted.

I'll never forget the coin shows of 2023 that we had fun with. Starting off with David and I trying to find you and Phil in the food court from the selfie you posted on the forum, to us having a ball at the restaurant after the ANA. Looking forward to the countless new memories to come.

Yea, by that time you were snoring under the hors d’oeuvres table. Thought there was a bear hibernating there but radical hunter climbed in and reported that it was just you. He tagged you anyway. Still have that lump behind your left ear?

That isn't quite how it all went down, but I heard you paid the hunter, so all good.

And for what it's worth, all that noise was some fun and games with one of the servers, and when your hunter showed up we had him tag one of the throw pillows we were using for comfort and we told him he better tell you the story you wanted to hear or you wouldn't pay him, and I would bring you the pillow as proof.

Sometimes we need to protect our honor Bro' ... you know how it goes.

Somewhere I might even still have pictures ...
