Why is there such a discreptency between TV business news gold pricing and Coinflation?

Watching FOX business and it show gold at 2036 and yet Coinflation has it at 2016. What gives and how can they be different? Bloomberg is at 2017. Is FOX live ticker lagging and is this common?

Perhaps, you should be watching CNBC
I see spot (futures) at 2014 and COMEX GC contract at 2017 currently.
News tickers can be delayed quotes, but it's been at least an hour since gold was in that range. Were you watching a tape delay broadcast?

The broadcast brings people in and then coinflation used as "buy" range (then subtract from that) for dealers?
No idea unless broadcast isn't using real data. Though, I have noticed that coinflation sometimes is NOT accurate. A couple of weeks again, the coinflation app wasn't working either.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I think it has to do with what month future they are displaying.
Thanks all, just wanted a true source for accurate numbers. I guess there isn't one.
