I am so very sorry and he will definitely be in my prayers. As earlier mentioned, tell us of your numismatic adventure. When did you become interested and how did this man spark your interest in our hobby. These should be comfortable memories and hopefully those which you feel good to share. We are with you brother.

To kerp you focused on your connection what do you both collect?
I couldn't have been any prouder of him than I was on this day and I was glad to be in attendance. He started me metal detecting 20+ years ago and my first time out with him I dug an IHC and he started explaining about the coin and it's history, and from that moment on my addiction with coins began. His collection is vast as he collected all denominations, Mint sets Commemoratives, Foreign, you name it he had one or many, I am just really broken right now, but thank you all for your kind words, talking about him here is really helping me, I was glad to be the one on watch in his final moment he was like a father to me as my Dad died when I was 12 years old.
I'm sorry for your loss. RIP.

Huge Bummer.
It's times like these that you can reflect on a person and your relationship with them. I think that's why most people are never really passed away. They live in your heart forever.
