Unfortunately, I must bring some bad news to the attention of the forum. Eric Renaud, "thisistheshow" passed away unexpectedly in December.

Eric dabbled in all sorts of coins, but we crossed paths when he ventured into exonumia. I was immediately struck by his thoughtful questions and genuine passion for the hobby. He kept coming back with more questions and insight. Never a bother, he was the kind of guy I could talk for hours with over tokens. And he was so appreciative of the help! Very humble and appreciative as he learned more and more, and he was proud of each new acquisition whether it cost $5 or $500. A true collector. And though I'd never met him in person, I'm sure he was one hell of a good human being.
Gone at 47. Rest in peace, brother.

I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
