I guess I'll start!
Technically I picked this first one up at the tail end of 2023, but didn't post it. And just grabbed this Frank Robinson tonight while watching the Wolverines take out the Tide.

Won these 9 items tonight. Average price $20.00. No 10's graded for the Topps Laser. Fun evening! Happy New Year!
Picked up this one for my Hall Of Fame and Topps Sampler sets.
I have been waiting years to finally get this 83 Fouts in a PSA 10!!!
And yes, that 78 Fouts is another PSA 8 that is cleverly disguised as a PSA 7!!!
Just got this one back from a submission I made in November. I got the card signed at a show last spring. Rick Reuschel was my first favorite pitcher when I was a kid, and it was cool to finally meet him in person.
I am trying to pick up some key cards from the mid to late 70's. Started off with this one that arrived from the authenticator today.
Congrats on the 10.> @gameusedhoop said:
PSA must have hired Stevie Wonder to fill in during the holiday shortage of graders for that card to get a 10.
I will start the new year with this.

I didn’t plan on buying another Brett rookie but I really like this one. My pic sucks it shows some discoloration on the left border which isn’t actually on the card.
hey @Darin ...Your pic is Just Fine...
Besides the fact that it’s a jerk move to crap on somebody’s purchase, if you actually knew what you were talking about, you’d have noticed it’s not a new label. So your “holiday” joke falls a little flat. But good luck with your PSA 10pd!

This was a December purchase, but thanks to eBay authentication it didn't arrive until today.
New Year's Resolution: buy more Clemente cards. Here is my latest pickup...
That's a beauty @mintonlypls
1st card of 2024

Phillies of the 70's
This doesn't belong with some of the great cards posted but I'm happy to have it!
Very bold colors. Especially the green on the reverse and "Pirates" lettering on the front. Nice.

Just in for the auto set:
Great TW card!
The old Red Sox logo needs to make a comeback.
Ted never seemed to choke up on the bat.
Latest Puckett.
A couple of hockey cards came today!
First card of the year. I've been looking for one for quite a long time. Centering is important to me, so this was a tough one to find without spending too much.
Nice. I saw you post this on Facebook.

I’m still plugging away at these bubble gum box beauties and therefore was quite happy to add this very solid specimen to the fold.

Arrived today, a decent 7 and didn't have to go into debt for it. Spared myself Soup & Noodles meals for a month.
A Magic day.

Love Stan The Man! His cards are so undervalued for how great he was.
Recent PSA pop adds to the Penguin Collection:
POP 8
POP2
Also an oddball of 2 borderline HOFers.
POP is screwed up because there are 3 different labels of same card
Added another auto

I enjoy collecting the Baseball Hall of Fame Players Post War Rookies. After looking at the pop report I picked this one up out of fear and fear only. 147 total cards graded.
How much did it sale for is one of the funniest and most ignorant things I've ever heard.
Cool card!
Closers are clearly so tough for the voters to evaluate and place in proper context. So, Mo goes in on the first ballot unanimously as the best closer ever. Billy Wagner? He’s easily one of the best to ever do it and he doesn’t get close for a long time and still struggles to get votes.

Apologies for the longer post but it’s a pretty fun one, too, I think. So, this was purchased on a bit of a whim, mainly because it was inexpensive, because I wanted to learn and satiate my curiosity and because I’ve never before bought or owned a vending box of cards before.
Based on the pictures (and price), I knew it was going to be a 99 percent chance it was already searched but I figured it was worth the plunge anyway. I asked the most knowledgeable people I knew (Thanks, @grote15 , among a few others!!!) when I received the box about what to look for if it was good and I learned about the zebra striping and other indicators as well as being prepped as to what cards were likely to be gone if it wasn’t. I got a smart theory about how the box was filled and also learned some of the tell tale signs of its already having been ‘opened’ and picked. It was a really great learning experience and it helped tremendously that I had set (for me) the reasonable expectations that the Eddie Murray rookie, Trammell/Molitor rookie, Reggie Jackson base and Nolan Ryan base cards - at minimum - likely won’t be in the box, if they ever were, and that it’s possible that every decent card was picked making it a box of off-centered commons.
Knowing all that, I think that this was probably the best case scenario and so, with no further pomp and circumstance, that I’m going to share my scans of the best cards from the box:
Thought these were stunning semi stars:
And, lastly, a few pretty team cards and checklists:
Again, a big thank you, Tim and John, among others!!!

In 1985, the Chicago Bears had an awesome front 7 on defense. Danimal (Dan Hampton) was one of the 7. He went into the Hall of Fame in 2002. I finally have his rookie card.
My favorite year as a kid (76 Topps) and favorite team (Reds) to add to my PC.
Just picked up another very nice card in an old holder….
Keith...
A beautiful 8.5...best value and grade in the hobby!
PaulMaul...
Very nice card. He pitched a no-hitter for the Reds in the 1960s...I think against the Phillies.
Thank you Monte - as we discussed at lunch my favorite grade as well. We need to catch a Reds game this spring as well. 😉
Keith...
Great idea! I have a Cubs game at Wrigley Field planned with another board member for next season as well.
Very nice. I was tracking that one. Nice pick up.
Yes, I am a "homer".
Two of my favorite Twins.

Nice! Really like the '61 design on the archives card. Just curious, how many graded Harper cards in your collection?
KC, That is a great looking 76 Pete Rose. Centering is off the charts. Congrats.
Nice looking Namath rookie. Hard to find one with good centering. Well done.
Finally got a blue flip "crossover" sub to pop in early Jan. I think both of these cards present better than the numerical grade.
From an unopened box to PSA and back to me, it always feels good to get a gem Jeter rookie.
