Wow. My thoughts here are irrelevant as I wasn’t a bidder, but I never expected it to go for that. My sample size is extremely small, but it feels like the high end coins I’ve watched over the last year or so have fairly consistently gone for far more than I would have thought. I’ve seen others mention similar sentiments in threads here, usually to the effect of I put in a bid I thought was more than enough, only to be outbid by one or more others, often by a considerable jump. I do wonder who bought it.
