As a graduate of the University of Delaware, I wish him well. He was maltreated in Baltimore by the coach in the playoffs.

He sure won a lot of games his first 5 years. SB MVP, what happened? I don't follow Baltimore, did he regress, or is he just a scapegoat for not winning with a crappy team?
The Ravens defense was top 3 for his first several seasons, think that had anything to do with "his" early success?

Had that Denver receiver not blown the easiest coverage ever Flacco might not have ever been a 100 million dollar guy

@JoeBanzai, we talked about this yesterday while we watched the game. I don't know if it was a problem with the Head Coach/GM or with his salary requirements but it didn't seem to me like Flacco had "diminished skills" when he found himself on the outside with the Ravens. Watching him now he stills seems agile/able to move in the pocket to avoid pressure and his arm seems fine. He always threw a nice deep ball and can still pitch a 20 yard frozen rope!! He makes his reads OK and from all reports is a "good teammate" and brings leadership to a team that needs it.

His play thus far has been adequate and in the coming weeks he should improve. It's interesting to see chemistry develop between the QB and his receivers on any team. Flacco has familiarity with Elijah Moore, they played together on the Jets last season, and he seems to favor David Njoku and targets Cedric Tillman. With Amari Cooper as his number one Flacco has some good targets he can spread the ball to.

I think as he gets more familiar with the playbook he'll do just fine. The biggest problem with Cleveland isn't QB, it's the Offensive line. They have been hit hard with injuries, lost to game one starters already. That's not an excuse, it's just the reality of the NFL and next-man-up. :p
