I believe I have more coins from 1857 than any other date to the best of my memory.

Lets throw a Pattern into the mix: J-188 Quarter Dollar
Pollock's reference book on US Patterns stated that Judd's reference book describes this pattern as the first work by Anthony Paquet who started at the Mint in Oct. of that year, and USPatterns states it might be a setup piece for his ten dollar design the following year!

1857 marks the last issue of the Half Cent series (mintage 35,180). Here is the example from my collection:
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
