Nice get on these 3. ALways loved the scoremasters set, can't pass up a tiffany and the 92 UD triple exposure has always been a favorite of mine. Love them!
thanks for the response. i am going to try and collect more griffeys and frank thomas cards this next year.

That is a great New Year’s resolution. Have fun with it!
I am a big Minnesota Wild fan. Here's my latest pick ups. The Wild might have the best prospect pool in all of hockey, so I gambled on some of their recent high draft picks.
GO WILD!
This guy's awfully good too!
2013,14 and 15 Certificate Award Winner Harmon Killebrew Master Set and Master Topps Set
Bought a new computer and have not had a chance to set up my scanner so have not posted pick ups in a bit.
These two are HUGE ones for me. The first HOF set I started was ‘55 Bowman because it was my Dad’s favorite set. This will be the first Christmas without him so he won’t see it complete. I was missing just Boudreau and Hubbard for a couple of years now. All of a sudden Hubbard in a 7 came up in November and Boudreau in an 8 came up in December (both on EBay) While not huge cards these two are tough to find. Started the set in 2014 - first card was Mathews.
Here is the group shot. They look so good together!

A few in for sets I’ve slowly been putting together. Getting close on these
Those are amazing. And to go after those sets is quite a task. Very impressive. To me that was the top of the mountain for Upper Deck in those years around 2000. The 2001 Legendary Cuts set is still my favorite modern set. I'll never forget opening a box my wife bought me for Christmas that year and hitting a DiMaggio cut auto. The bat and jersey insert sets in that are epic.

I normally don't buy cards post 1990. However, when I saw this Steve Young, had to have it! Pop 2 only. Nice refractor! Also added to my vintage collection!!!
So PSA ran their first T3 sized special in a long time ( 3-4 years) recently so I sent what I could afford in
I had multiple hundreds of similar stuff set aside years ago when T3 was cheaper ($35) but never got around to doing so
Sadly its gonna cost tons more in this profit first - registry last specials- so that is MY fault not doing so back when I could
The Archives and Museum are # to 10 . Gonna do more SC and 5x7 when I can afford it and specials get run for T3
My registry guy Jim gets first shot at my Buehler ,rest are heading elsewhere or PC

Hot about it as all I'll say

Their inconsistencies have kinda become their trademark over the years.
Just noticed this card in a group of ‘74s I was going through. Looks like it would have had a chance for a PSA 10 in the old days. The yellow is a tiny bit off register, not sure if that is a big deal. My 1974 set is mostly raw anyway so I’ll probably just keep it as is. A nice one though!!

Lol. If you got that Ortiz in a recent Ebay auction I believe it was mine. Too funny.

I did buy it on Ebay last week. Great card for my Red Sox PC.
1984 Purina uncut sheet and a new book were my sports gifts.
Woof!
Great group of players on a single sheet, nice pick up. My only problem is how to protect and where to store full sheets.

An addition to my growing Billy Pierce collection. Will probably complete his basic player run this coming year.
hey Chicago1976...
that background there of Comiskey Looks Pretty Cool....
I received this original Topps comic art from Mike Gidwitz.
For those who remember? He was the owner of the PSA 8 T206 Wagner at one point.
His reason for selling? He wanted to be the first person to sell a "million dollar" card.
I used to converse with him on the net and did a phone interview which I posted years ago.
Interview
It's long - my apology.
The artwork and nice note he sent - kind of made my day. After all, who doesn't like a compliment every now and again?
Thanx for viewing and Happy New Year!
Bought a 1969 Bowie Kuhn from Mike. Exchanged some emails with him at the time - very interesting guy and had a lot of cool uncut sheets.
