Actually, it's VB I don't trust. I'm fine with UB. Did UB have two post-sellout drops on any of their earlier releases?

I don't think much of what they are selling, but they are very transparent in what they are doing. If people want to ascribe huge values to made on demand labels, and people are willing to support a secondary market for them, more power to them. Some tulip bulbs are also very special.

At least we're not talking about this Ultrabreaks crap!

It really is kind of crazy that people ascribe a value to a label on a slab that has nothing at all to do with the coin in the slab. Nothing at all. UltraBreaks are truly quintessential tulip bulbs, and it is incomprehensible that any serious numismatist would have any interest at all in them.

Hey but they quote two 'influencers' on their website. What could possibly be wrong with this? :*

The mention of "tulips" refers to an eventual market collapse.

That will be hard to predict in the label and plastic world where we currently reside.

Agree. You'd have to be in a bubble prior to the collapse. A simple drop in price is not a mania. It is an overwrought metaphor

Few people realize that tulip bulbs have reached the bottom of their 384-year cycle, and are poised to rebound any decade now! :p
