I see the AI stuff off and on. eBay could maybe have someone program it to scan the eBay listings looking for counterfeits and then flag the listings to eBay.

The counterfeit Morgan dollars have reappeared in another incarnation from the same seller - this time with the counterfeits mixed into groups of other coins. The first lot has 2 counterfeit Morgans seeded into a group of wheat cents, and the second lot has 1 counterfeit Morgan and several counterfeit silver Japanese coins in a group of wheat cents and other random coins.
