I would send them back and send these pics with it!
You can send all the photos in the world they will not reach the graders. You might feel better but it is a useless thing to do.
Then tell them to upgrade their photos for grading because those are the pics for Ms 66 on their own website that they use to show just what they expect for the grade. https://pcgs.com/grades
I have no dog in the fight, just pointing out that wasting your (or anyone's) time sending photos is a useless exercise. Again you might feel better but it won't change anything. TPG's do not have grading standards, they hand out opinions, and opinions can and do change with the wind.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease. The answers always no if you don't ask. Blah blah..
I have no horse in it either but if you think you're right then you owe it to yourself.
Those cuts are from the edge of other coins likely hitting the coin as the bag was moved or when other coins hit it while being made. Likely from being in a bag. As far as the rim ding I don't know. Looks fairly minor in hand but you can go look at coinfacts and compare grades as an exercise and see how you feel. Plenty of high grade 85-O Morgan's with rim issues.
It takes a little time for things that are unsettling to simmer down. My feelings now are that I probably have the nicest white ms 65 1885-O in existence. I'm just grateful to have what I have. So many other people have much less than alot of us. We talk on this forum about what we do with our money when some families and their kids don't even have decent shoes or adequate food. I'm a grateful coin addict.
It's only a coin. Case closed.

I’ve said it many times - most coins that collectors think are undergraded are actually net graded for a problem the collector can’t identify. You’re actually lucky this coin straight graded at all as it is. The coin has been thumbed to cover up some chatter to the right of the date. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
I thought the area to the right of date was an oily fingerprint. In the above photo, 1 star itself is larger than an actual Morgan $. So that photo is magnified 50+ times actual size. Agree the minor cuts and lines are there, to the left of profile & on rim, & maybe some spots by the date, but does seem a very conservative grade. But seeing in hand maybe all these little nicks add up and prevent a higher grade. That is one smooth cheek and I'd love to buy it for 65 money.
Do the graders magnify coins by 50 times to grade. I'm not being a smart ass. I just want to learn. I looked the coin over pretty good before I sent it. I didn't see what your showing but when it's back, supposedly today I will use my scope again to see what your talking about. I didn't see that with my loupe. Doesn't mean it's not there but I may have missed it.

That's the right way to look at it. With that said, that coin really belongs in a 66 holder IMO.

To be honest those cuts look more like a planchet flaw when i blew it up.

I know exactly how you feel. ALL of my coins are under-graded as well.
