Question for all who insist that a 0 feedback score MUST be a scam...
What feedback number did you start out with?
0, but I built my feedback with purchases and small sales. 0 feedback selling some inexpensive items is much less suspicious than some diving right in with high-value pieces.
I may be a contrarian but I have purchased some of the best shit off of Ebay with people that have near zero feedback. I got 10K 1968 mint sets for barely over face, I purchased $10k of OBW rolls of Lincolns from 1930-58 and jeffs from some old dude in Nebraska. Stewart ended up with two of my coins and pretty much anyone who has a Jeff registry set has one of them. His local dealer offered him shit and I took a chance. here is an axiom - scared money always loses. If you don't care if you lose, then do it.
This coin was last sold by Heritage Auctions in 12/22. It discusses the weak 5 in the auction write up. I used the PCGS app and scanned the numbers…..and it showed this exact coin in the pop/auctions area. Last sold for $7804.
I am surprised it went for that much, that weak strike would be a hard pass for me.

Yeah, well that website appears to have started up in late September and I'm suspicious that that pictured store front is nowhere near Oxford Michigan if it actually exists at all. And as the above comment points out, it would be nice to get the spelling correct before you open. I wouldn't drop a dime on those offers.
"This seller will not help me!! The seller breached the contract!! I was the high bidder on this coin and the seller refused to deliver and would not respond to my requests. He has tied up my money on 2 credit cards which I have yet to get EBay to pay me back. The last time this coin was sold was on Heritage auctions in August of 2022 for 13,800.00. Supposedly I won this auction with a bid of 7527.00. I feel like suing this person or EBay for this missed opportunity!"

If eBay doesn't help him, his credit card company should be able to reverse the charge. He didn't get the rip that he thought he would get so I can understand his anger. He should leave the seller negative feedback and then move on.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Don't know if this would help, but try and registrar the coin at PCGS. If it goes through it would stop anyone else from registering it Then when someone tries to register it you would be notified and maybe pursue it from there
Good luck
Sorry if I wasn't very clear. I did not bid, nor is this my feedback. I merely posted the info as I remembered this thread and thought the results of the auction and the high bidder's feedback would be of interest.

The website and pictured storefront are a total fabrication. The original linked eBay sales have vanished. Addresses and contact numbers on the site are not real. Idiots cannot even spell their own business name correctly, including on their supposed storefront awning.
The two original listings are both gone on eBay even though bid prices had exceeded website price. 1795 Flowing Hair Dollar and 1909-S VDB still show in their fake website. When this thread was first opened the seller stated they were from Oxford MI which I knew was a lie. The link to the current listing for the negative feedback states : Located in: McLean, Virginia
I got burned recently buying from an eBay seller with some negative feedback.

"Please note This auction will be ended anytime, once we receive a confirmed payment from a buyer at our store."
Heads, I win, tails, you lose.
