Who will be attending the Michigan State Numismatic Society this week?

This will be the first time in many decades that the show will not be held on the weekend after Thanksgiving, but rather on the weekend before Thanksgiving. It is also in a new location, the Radisson Hotel on Telegraph Road in Southfield. Who from this board will be attending?
All glory is fleeting.

I was at the spring show and the dealers were NOT happy about the date change! I know I always loved going on Black Friday as did many other collectors. Not sure why they changed it but I will not be attending. I sure hope they change it back next year. That’s a long, casual 3 day weekend for many people. I bet attendance is way down as many collectors probably don’t know it was changed!
I'm going.
I’ll be there Friday

I have not had reason to go to Detroit at Thanksgiving for several years since my Ma finally passed at age 97, so I won't be there. It's a bit of a schlep.
I was rather disappointed to read in the MICH-MATIST that the Exhibit Area was NOT going to be handicapped accessible due to a short stairway. I travel with a walker these days, and steps can be a deal breaker.
I have wanted to attend this show for a long time, but it is a long way to go in cold weather.
I'll be attending as well, most likely Friday.

I am in MI now to see family but leaving to early for the show. Only made it to this show once. Maybe I can time it better next year.
Anyone here setting up at the show this year?

Any show reports?
Arrived around 11AM. Tight parking but found a spot in the very back. Bourse was separated in three separate rooms, poor lighting, a couple of crabby dealers, pretty quiet bourse on Friday around 1PM. Larry Briggs was not happy with the show security.
Sold a few items but didn't see anything I had to have.
Bought this Saturday night on line.
@blue62vette
Todd, would love to have you photograph my core collection next time you are in Michigan.
Sounds like a far cry from the Michigan State Tgiving shows of yore…..
It was alright but nothing like it used to be IMO. A better layout and more lighting would have helped. The largest area looked like dealers were stacked on top of each other. Exhibits were up stairs overlooking the main bourse.
Well I guess you won’t have to worry about Wolverine sightings seeing that they are preoccupied with Football relevance.
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
is there any online map of the bourse for the fall 2023 ? i met with a dealer over there and id like to try and get ahold of him
Try the Michigan State Numismatic Society website. They may be able to help you out.
I have the bourse guide. It's kind of jumbled how they map it out over 5 pages.
Pick a number and I can give you the name.
i believe it was the jefferson - if 1 was a new grading company, i believe 11 is the guy im looking for ..
i believe he was in the corner of the jefferson room, to the right of the entrance
