Here’s my Peace dollar of that year.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
I did a search of “1935” in my iPhone camera roll and found these 🌝

I’ve been doing some currency from that period lately, but I have not yet bought the 1935 series silver certificate.
I’ll probably need to get on that!

One of my favorite buffalo nickels. The color with the underlying luster makes it a standout in my collection.
Cool thread😎
Great coins and currency so far! 👍

@crazyhounddog Joe, that is a particularly well-struck coin for a 35-D. And obviously the color is outstanding!
Here’s the Lincoln in my date set (and probably also my type set example):
Awesome coins! 👍

Not the best pictures but you get the idea.

Here's a pair of AU55 walkers from 1935. Graded together as well. I bought them both separately but from the same dealer.
1935…What a great year!!
And truly an underrated year for Walkers. They are actually quite rare, especially the two branch mints.
Here are my three gems from each mint:

A Barber Quartet is made up of Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, and Halves.
Both just back from CAC, Dollar yes, nickel no…
MS67+RD w/CAC:
As you can see, two of the three have a plus grade. IMO, the Peace Dollar merits a plus, but maybe it’s owner bias, as PCGS disagrees with me. Oh well.

@2windy2fish nice Peace! I thought 65 before I looked it up and saw it’s in a 64 holder. Guessing it’s just a tad short of luster for a gem?
Here’s one of my WQs from ‘35, a 66+ CAC and one of the best coins in that set.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
@PocketChange I am not sure what PCGS didn’t like about the coin, plenty of luster and very few marks, however CAC liked it as is so it must be graded correctly?
My current "Box of 20"
That's a nice looking 58.
Spectacular coins!

An Arkansas commemorative with pretty toning is, indeed, quite pretty. I think I was very lucky to win this MS 67 in a GreatCollections auction about 5 years ago.
The most Art Deco reverse Eagle.. So appropriate for the year.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.
