I couldn't be happier with PCGS right now. Seems they are moving along very well!
How much longer do you guess it will be until my grades pop up?

Then it goes to encapsulation, then QC. It can sit at QC for a couple of weeks. Maybe not though. Good luck.

I feel terrible my first inclination while opening this thread was, "Here we go again, someone complaining about the poor service PCGS is providing. . ."

I am pleased to see I was wrong with my assumption!

All I know is that my submission sat with just "received" showing. Today it changed to "grading" and "being imaged".
So maybe I'm wrong about PCGS. Whatever the case may be it's worth the wait.
I am sorry I drew out so much negativety. I'm really in a good mood today. Several new purchases showed up in the mail and then I spotted this change. I felt like things were going my way for a change.
I'm patient so however long it takes is okay with me. I am preparing another submission now.

How did you do with your grade?
I see you sent one in.
Did you get the results you were hoping for?
    I hope you did!
    Love to see an image......
What's weird is I can see where you coin went through the process of grading yet it says "sign in".

My last one took a total of 21 days from Received to Shipped (9/7-9/28). It was only a 4 coin submission. I had an 8 coin submission in January that took about 5 weeks from received to shipped, (1/6-2/14).

Bob I have been reading that pcgs is moving along nicely. I'll keep a positive state of mind.
It's worth the wait. I am a big fan of the pcgs gold shield holders. Morgan's look very cool in them.

    I thought it was 100% sarcasm. I guess we're a little too cynical 😂

If you share your order by clicking the box below it, we can all follow along.
I share all mine, but it takes so long people lose interest.

That is a high kool-aid consumption you have. :D My guess is you will have your grades by X-mas, but not much sooner. If two or three months makes you happy that is great, my CACG 7 coin raw submission was completed, imaged, and shipped in ten days, now that is having your act together and great customer service.

I heard that SEGS currently has really fast turnaround times as well.

I was quite pleased with my last sub regular Gold Shield only taking 7 weeks from received to shipped. And they received it on July 3rd...The order just before that took a tad longer and my next was received 10-6 and I fully expect the grades to pop in about 4 or 5 more weeks.

Oh yea, just in case they're listening this is now a subliminal message from CoinscratchFever and my avatar is unquestionably 67+

When you disallow the general public from using your services, yeah you can get a measly amount of work done in 10 days.

This is true, but that knife cuts both ways. It is also true that you can cut your six month wait times down to only two or three months because your customers are sending their coins to the competition due to the excessive wait rather than "having your act together". :)

    You're at stage 3 of 7.

    I sure will.
Again I didn't want to see this turn into anything negative. I am pleased to see my coins moving. I thought itnmight take a week or two from here. If you guys are saying a few more months there is nothing I can do. It's out of my hands.i do think pcgs does a good job considering the work load they must have.

As an engineer, I have to agree a smaller glass would be more efficient. :) As far as someone really getting their act together, not so much.
