Picked up these bad boys for my 57 set!! Very nice high number condition for Smalley!
The raw will stay raw, along with the other 57 raw I have not shown. I don't need to pay a bunch of money to have PSA 6, 7, 8 slabbed as PSA 5's..............

Here are some random oddballs from auction lots
1963 Topps Peel Offs Harmon Killebrew Blank Back
Seems to be scarcer than the Instruction Back
There are 3 listings for this card on PSA POP Report
Does the first listing include both backs before they made the distinction between the two? Not sure.
Yes, at first there was only a listing for "1963 Topps Peel Off" then the instruction back was added, causing PSA to remove my now incorrectly labeled item from my Master set.
I have that high grade instruction back somewhere that I haven't sent in to be re-labeled. Instead I added one to fill the slot.

Best mail day I’ve had in a long time. Now I just need Hogan and Minarik and I’ll have my 52 Steelers done. That might take awhile tho. Haven’t seen them for sale in a long time.
Had to pick one of these up with the Postseason he's having, again.

80s Special reached the mail box yesterday.
Here are a couple of oddballs that did well (and with better action shots than some mainstream issues).
One for the PC (Penguin Collection).....
...and a Stockton Rookie Year Card....
There were SEVERAL that slid past the insert rails in the holder like the 1 below.
One of the cards that slid past the rails is a PSA 10, getting damaged INSIDE the holder!!!
Come on PSA. You are a bazillion dollar company charging us a lot of money to protect our cards.
You can't have a holder that secures cards better?
Won this at auction for $6.50. Very badly worded title & it's the "True Blue" parallel /500. The seller had offers on & I offered him $10 before the first bid. He declined with no counter - these comp at around $20.
I met a fellow board member for lunch/dinner today. We chatted about cards, showed recent acquisitions, and even consummated a deal. Thanks Keith (KC) for giving me the opportunity to purchase this very cool item! As it says...it only cost me 49 cents

Glad we could get together again and enjoyed the food, cards, and company. Hope you enjoy the rack, and enjoyed seeing an amazing group of PSA 8.5’s and 9’s - my favorite grade as well is PSA 8.5 😉
Hope to bump up to a 6 or 6.5 someday. Why I like this 5 better then some 6's I see on Ebay right now is this one has a clear vibrant color print. Higher graded have the white snow all over the front. I will trade off center for a great print on lower grade.

Love that Puckett card, Joe. Sweet addition to your growing Kirby collection.
Thanks!
Accepted sellers offer of $50.00 on this card a few minutes ago. Had been looking at Orr's earlier in the day, but couldn't pull the trigger. This is the year I collected hockey as a youngster. I never did get an Orr. Fixed that now.
Comments welcome, see any flaws? I see a few print dots on the back.
Some sellers asking crazy $ for these.

Yes, the Winners cards were a sendin reward from a scratch off card in packs. You could see the correct scratch off bubbles if you held the card up to a light, so the winners cards aren’t rare or important really. Golds were in packs and factory sets and have a much smaller print run (but still a ton).
Finally pulled the trigger on one of my all-time favorite cards from my teenage days:

I believe that DJ auto is vintage pen? Hope so!
Back from PSA so I consider these ‘acquisitions’. Part of a 100ish card modern football sub.
My own sub!! Wish I could keep it! Dang! But I can't! Had to put it on Ebay.
Thought it would be a PSA 9 PSA/DNA 10. Another vintage under grade from the "new" PSA.....
My second Willie Mays card.

Recent eBay purchase. Like the "Baseball Thrills" subset, will probably grab them all.

Kind of feel this card is slept on. Thome’s first Topps card and the “rarest” variant of it.
Is there a “winner” version of this card? Honest question, I have no idea how the winner cards worked.

I live in Louisville, Ky and was a Ky Colonels fan growing up. Very happy to add this one.
I do as well, and my friend’s dad lives in his old house!
One day, in 4-5 years, I am going to have a fun ripping party. Could not resist adding some vintage vending to my hockey collection.
