Some of those coins are quite rare. Not sure about the abbreviations, but the coins, wow. All the gold Iturbides are off the chart. The only one I have even seen is the Guatemala gold, but all very rare.

You should probably move it to the World/Ancient forum if you want some more responses. :)

Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard

This just happens to be a foreign catalog but the players were the same as in the US. Moritz Wormser was a leading member in the ANA for many years. John Clapp created the bulk of the Eliasberg collection etc.

My sincere apologies for failing to respond while this was on the darkside- I have nothing helpful. Perhaps Max Mehl's company could be one but I have no idea as to abbreviations and whether that would even work. As for Marx and the time frame... well I think you probably can guess where I would go with that but I have no information to suggest any of them were coin collectors.

Best of luck with the ongoing research- your efforts are to be commended

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
