Looks like some muted luster hidden in there, I agree with XF 45.

It's not a high-resolution image but I wouldn't be overly shocked if it was XF45+ to AU50. Nice coin.

45 is my thought as well. Details? No, it does appear to be dipped a while back.

    I wouldn’t be surprised at AU50 but XF45+

    I'm with the 45 crowd

It came back AU details - code 94 -Altered surface means things like thumbed, puddied, tooled etc...
"thumbing" is rubbing your thumb against your nose to collect skin oils, then wiping your thumb across the coin. The oils will mask small hairlines (and I believe they will darken over time). I realize that a picture is limiting for numismatists to assess a coin.

Thank you for evaluating my coin!

I would surely want more pics with different lighting before purchase
I believe i am seeing some hairlines.
Here is a pic of one i sent in that graded XF45
The price spread between a 45 and 50 is 6K if i remember correctly..

This is a very nice coin and rare, in a non-details grade!!!!

Just my gut. Looks like it had issues, then was worked to kind of hide the issues, and has kinda turned a touch in the intervening years. That's my read on the surfaces. Just really wonky looking. Wouldn't shock me if it straight graded due to rarity but I'd bag it if those images are representative of the in-hand feel. Caveat emptor of course, those pics are... not great.

    Late, I thought 40 .
Funny thing is when I see these GTG's, I almost never consider detail(s) factors, always assumed it was graded.
    prob just me.

I like it although it appears to me to have been cleaned to some degree due to past environmental issues.

XF45. But I'm not great at grading.
