I helped a neighbor submit coins to PCGS. I have the submission number, is there any way for me to keep track of it? I think not, but thought I'd ask.

There is a way. A forum member submitted a coin for me. He updates me where it is the process.

I have not done it but a submission can be 'shared' with another and then both the submitter and the person whom it was shared with can see it. Sorry I don't know the process but a friend submitted for someone and then shared it with the owner so that he could see it also.

    Edit:
I will add that it was quick. It went something like this.

At show and two were talking. Said I can share the order with you. What is your information / account.
    Information given.
    About 10 seconds later:
Okay, I shared the order with you. Just go to your (phone) account app and you should see the order.

I think what stawick posted below may be the 'button'. I just did not watch it.

I just did an online submission for my 8 vouchers (plus another for 3 Express, due to potential value).
infp @ pcgs sent me an email with a link to the completed form.
Oh, but tracking it ... ?
    ...
    The form says this -

Go to www.pcgs.com/myaccount to check the status of your order.

So once its entered in their system, the submitter can link to the PCGS order (via submission number link) and use the SHARE button I suppose.

This is from an older order of mine ...

    Have not done it myself.

That said, if it is a "shared order", anyone can track it here. Appears to start at the QA step, not before.

Just noticed that you updated the title to "answered". For future reference, would you be willing to share your solution?

Yup, thought so, submitter can see but nobody else unless shared somehow.

I see two (online) ways for the submitter to "share".

    1) On the "My Orders" page.

    2) On the page for a specific 'submission/order'.

This creates a URL. https://www.pcgs.com/shared-orders/order-details/XXX, where "XXX" is the order number.

Link to the publicly viewable, "shared orders" page. Again, this option appears to become active at the 'Quality Check' step of the process.

    Edited for content.
