Need to see some rare gold
![derryb](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/14EDV68C03U1/nHZ87FF6KT5ZE.png)
While moving furniture into my newly constructed home, I took a hard fall from heat exhaustion and broke my hip and collarbone. laid up in rehab and need to see some beauties in the form of rare gold. Still looking forward to spending my first night in the new house. Thanks in advance for the well wishes and the good pics.

If by “rare” you mean not the usual generic gold coin, then these might scratch the itch…

The only thing rare is that I have gold. I feel your pain having fallen off a ladder a couple years ago, breaking 3 ribs. That ____ hurt. Ought not be climbing ladders and getting on roofs at 68, but try finding someone who wants to work. They're rarer than gold nowadays.
Edit to remove "shouldn't" and replace with "ought not". (I don't like shoulding on myself )![ ](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/blush.png)
Thanks I’m cheered up already how about some gold colored pain pills?

That’s a great looking Eagle! I thought it was a gem and I went back and saw the couple of ticks. Makes a super 64 though.
Why not another?
Wow, collarbone and hip!! The crowd did put up some nice medicine for you. All quite stunning examples. Nothing to compare with the above coins... get well and next time "pay the guy". (Two and a Half Men reference)

I don’t have any high end gold….yet. But I do
have some GMM Half Eagles. I sent them in to our hosts here
as they say they will grade anything that is in the “world of unusual coins”book.
They wrote back that it’s too close the real real ones in size, weight and design.
They also said they reserve the right to decide against slabbing them too.
I guess the COPY counter stamped on reverse was not good enough……..lol

A coin from Great Britain.
The only one that is currently thought to exist. In a series of just five years (1887, 1890, 1891, 1892 and 1893) the Jubilee Head half sovereign has around 18 different known varieties (see the publication on the Jubilee Head half sovereign by David Iverson and Steve Hill).
This one - the 1891 Low Shield with JEB - is currently the only one to have been found so far. Enjoy!
Currently looking for Proof Half Sovereigns…….
