Silver prices have sure risen, 'eh?

Can't believe how silver has rebounded! Why is that you think? Inflation, World unrest? Something other?

Silver is $24.25 per ounce (Saturday) and that would make 50 ounces $1,212.50. My price is still 1300.

This is not the BST forum. As such, I'll make my assessment on: 925 or sterling silver. Although these are nice bars, I would never consider paying more than spot and it's unlikely that any dealer would either. Good luck

When you adjust for inflation, silver’s price down. The price in dollars went up because the dollar is worth less, not because silver is worth more.

The premium on most silver is down so in effect the price is the same or lower. I was paying more for silver a few months ago than today.

Spot plus $4 to$5. Now with silver at $21 makes them about $25 per. About $15 lower than the beginning of the year. Opportunity or snare ?

You can look at it as silver down or dollar up. If you sell silver to buy dollars it’s cost you more. If you sell dollars to buy silver it cost less.

I won’t be dumping silver any time soon - only if & when I need a little cash.

Trying to “outsmart” the silver market with paper is only gambling, and that casino has always been open 24/7 for the weak-minded suckers hoping for an easy buck.

I bought one of the $500 face bags (avg AU) about 10 years ago and filled an entire album. I got the 32-D and S. I also got 2 MS67 mint set toned quarters which I sent in for grading (how I know they are MS67). Tons of varieties as well. I cherry picked enough out to nearly pay for the bag. I did buy the bag in the $13 range.
