Went through the first 3 roll set with a pre-screen.
P roll is the worst condition-wise and many show rinse residue.
D Finish is much nicer, many bright shiny examples. PL examples will be possible.
S Finish is superior, condition is the best. PL examples will be very likely. There will be 68's (but not in my roll).
There are a few MS67 candidates from each roll but I will do a second pass tomorrow with fresh eyes.
After the 50 state Quarters and the ATB Quarters, I just want to go back to GW and the reverse of 2021. It was a great looking coin and I'm just burned out over these 5-quarter series.

Very different design for sure. First I've seen like this. I'm not sure how I feel about squeezing in the denomination of the coin with all the other words. It may be confusing to some people. I do like the open field design, but as already mentioned the circulated pieces will show marks quickly.
In hand this coin is IMHO truly beautiful. I would probably put this at the top of the commem quarter heap. COTY? I have to get a silver and wish they'd done a 5 oz version....
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.
The design is OK in my mind. Different, but OK. Not horrible.
I'll wait to get one from circulation, look at it, and spend it - much like all the new carp the mint produces these days. I know this is a bit harsh, but the mint lost me as a customer a decade ago with their greed and their crummy website ordering system.
However, if you like this stuff- enjoy!

Lol. Who is going to confuse a quarter and does it actually matter if they do?

They don't sell "S" mint coins in mint sets. FYI
Not sure what you mean by this post. I purchased a 2023-S mint clad proof set. The San Francisco mint started producing coins for mint sets in 1968
Yes, the proof sets are all S mint coins. And all in proof finish.
The statement that they don't sell "S" mint coins in mint sets is accurate when the meaning of "mint set" is "uncirculated mint set".
The big deal here is that they are minting "S" mintmarked quarters that are of Uncirculated finish. Of which can only be bought here in the three roll P,D,S sets. These uncirculated S mintmarked quarters are not available in the mint proof sets or the mint uncirculated sets.
Seems as though the new Quarter releases are losing Steam. Hope there is a error that happens to bring more interest to a broader audience. I for one LOVE all of the artistry that the coins exhibit. I buy every release.

I'm with you. Please go back to 1 quarter per year!
The present obverse of GW and the 2021 reverse would be a great looking quarter.

Sigh... My Silver Proof Set just arrived. All of the coins look fantastic except the Idar. Wow this is bad...

Proof sets contain S mint coins. Uncirculated sets contain P and D mint coins.

if you haven't found a 67 from San Fran yet, the 3roll has been up for a few days
I noticed a few MS68 -S's in the pop report.
PDS three roll set still available this morning.

Anyone have any Idar or Tallchief P & D singles available to sell or trade? Haven't seen any at all in circulation yet!
Two roll set is up.
