Cool idea. I nominate Miss Nevada, the Bristlecone gold.
Or Utah, California ( Judge google says all three states have the tree) as runner ups for a superbly beautiful gold coin.

I'd vote for the gold HR.
The obverse is unique and the eagle on the reverse isn't bad.
The reeded edge is too cool.
