My favorite secret at the moment: who thought Oklahoma City in August 2025 was a good idea?

Is this a joke? I didn’t even look at the future schedule. Curious how many people can get direct flights for that one without a miserable layover.

    Where’s Oklahoma?

What's wrong with Oklahoma? @JBatDavidLawrence I suppose I should refrain from purchasing any coins from DLRC because my "Oklahoma" money isn't good enough?

Oh come on, no need to take umbrage 😂. I can’t stand Pittsburgh honestly but the logistics work out for many and the convention center is nice. Just don’t wonder around at nighttime as it’s pretty rough.

I’m sure Oklahoma is a beautiful place to live, but it’s about logistics. I just picked a bunch of random dates from FLL to Oklahoma City and everything has a connecting flight.

I selfishly love the idea of a national show in Oklahoma City--but between 100+ temperatures in August and the difficulty getting here I'm skeptical of the viability of such a show.

OKC is the epitome of "You can't get there from here.". It seem like at least 80% of flights into Will Rogers Airport require a hub connection. Even flights from major hubs such as Chicago or Atlanta require a layover at some other airport--either Dallas or (for some weird reason) Minneapolis.)

Once you get here OKC is a great convention town....nice convention center, very reasonable hotel rates, great food. I'm amazed the ANA chose to have a show here, though.

Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.
