    I found a 1907 D Barber Dime in the wild that looked like a shark took a bite out of it and decided it didn't taste good. Too bad re the tough date, though.

    "Vou invadir o Nordeste,

    Yes very sad. I wonder how a problem coin dealer friend (deceased) would have priced it.

    I was going to say, all damaged coins are sad. Your sad coin beats my sad coin by a mile, probably ten miles!! 😂 🤣

    Damaged certainly but still a very nice 70-CC. I'd sooner have an original (with "original damage") of that vs. a otherwise nice but cleaned/hairlined piece, or a bright new scratch, etc.

    I do agree it's a shame, but it's still an appealing piece in spite of the old dig.
