PCGS inventory versus mycollect inventory

During the lockdowns I loaded a majority of my collection with photos into PCGS inventory. Has anybody switched their collection over to mycollect. I am signed up over there also but due to my lack of computer skills don't know if it would be worth it. Anyone used both? Please advise pros and cons. Thanks

I have inventory in both PCGS and MYCOLLECT.
I have about 1,000 coins in PCGS mainly due to my numerous registry sets.
I have only about 200 on MYCOLLECT. Adding coins is easy enough. They do allow bulk additions but I choose to do them individually. I only added coins that were required into the sets that are listed. They add sets daily but it will take some time to get anywhere near the number PCGS has to offer.
There are some “bugs” where coins that are required in a set will not
“allocate” or register into the desired set. If you have issues, you can contact them and they will respond.
Try it out.

Thanks! How is the photo part of it? Can you add/view photos and how about values

The photos are easy to add but currently you can only do one at a time. No bulk additions.

They actually do have a bulk as long as you export what ever coins you want to use into a .cvs file.

Yes as I stated in the above response (s) on bulk coin additions. There is no picture bulk additions. If there is now, it would have been an afternoon addition today.

If there is a TrueView associated with the coin it will show up, but you’re right, any other photo would have to be brought in one at a time.

I added a few hundred certified coins last night. Trying to do a bulk add was a pain. You must remove the leading characters (coin type+grade) from PCGS coins and add the grade to the end of NGC coins. ANACS is not allowed at this point. Also, I didn't see a way to add raw coins or other mint products but nor did I look. Work in progress I'm sure but if ANACS isn't allowed by end of year, I will be deleting my account. I don't need it in two locations.

I do not care for either of those. Mycollect has too many issues with the inventory (it is quite new), and PCGS only allows PCGS. I am sticking with my coin software which does not discriminate nor have too many bugs.

Yes ... and many showed up with a Obv and reverse image of the slab ... those linked to NGC vert verification tool and with a noted CAC were applicable.

Not sure yet if I will do much of inventory management with Mycollection - however it is another forum to exchange comments and idea's

I’m on both and right now MyCollect is mostly people either showing a coin or trying to sell one. Very little discussion or fun stuff. Maybe it will come in time but right now it’s bored me.

I put my inventory on there and I’ll be curious to see how things round out when they have the leaderboards up.

This was my impression when I looked at the site in the first week, seemed to be a phishing hole for tons of the vest pocket internet only sellers that frequent IG or FB. I didn't sign up and haven't looked at the site since.

Same. Just a bunch of friend requests from people I don't know. Waste of time.
