Thousands of coin photos?

Going through my phone just now, I saw I have over 11,000 photos. Looking at my iPhone album it seems like 70% or more of my photos are of coins!
By the thousands.
I save photos of varieties, toners, special coins I sell, and interesting rarities. I had not realized until now how overwhelmingly coin oriented my photos actually are.
Is your phone filled with coin pics too?
One day I will start deleting some of them, probably around the same time @ricko searches through his jars of spare change LOL

Considering that my degree is in photography, in the days of emulsion film...
I've never counted my film photos but It's likely well over 100,000 negatives...maybe 1% coins.
Never counted the photos I've taken with my phones over the years, but it's likely close to 100,000 images...maybe like 20% coins...until about 6 years ago. As of then, probably more like 70-80% coins.
My current external 2 Terabyte drive is about 90% full. Nearly all cellphone photos lol.

Coins coins everywhere but not a drop to drink.
Funny story, I was playing a phone game called Photo Roulette with the boys, when an app randomly chooses a photo from someone's camera roll and everyone has to guess who it belongs to. My photos were all coins! I could never win that game.

We are all just prisoners here (some more then others......Hello @ricko 😂 😉) of our own device!
Yep, but mine are organized into sub-folders in my camera roll on iPhone/iPad. These are all of my slabbed coin photos in a folder called “Coins”

Same here on the laptop.
No. My phone is used for, you know, making phone calls, and texting people. And Facebook. I almost never use it to take pictures of anything, even though it's got a perfectly usable camera on it.
My digital camera, on the other hand...

Not 1 picture of a coin on my phone!
Has anyone ever use the slide show feature on the app ?
Don't miss out on that part of viewing your files.
I don't let my PC's photo files clog it's memory or storage.

Ditto here. Well over half are coin pictures... not great pictures but they are pictures.

Organization is so over-rated. Have to search through the pictures every time like pawing thru the 90% junk silver box at my LCS for real fun.

yeah, I just looked at how many photos I have in the main unsorted “recent” folder and I have 23,351 in total. I’d say 60% or so are coins or coin related. Some sections, like the one below, appear to be more like 90% are coin related in one way or another. It would take me hours to find a picture I was looking for, so that’s why I ended up with sub folders.

Having very little photographic skills, I would say less than 2% of pictures on my phone or computer are of coins. The few I have are one's I have taken to display here on the forum.
Cheers, RickO
Gee, and here I am just using individual folders for each coin with all pertinent info.

I have hundreds of thousands of coin photos on hard drives, but if you look at my phone... hope you like doggies
This sounds like an impressive level of organization. I worry you are missing out on the whole “wild goose chase to find an old photo” situation though.

Yes, I do miss the fun of not finding images of coins I have.

No "thrill of the hard drive hunt."

I also don't have buckets of coins.
But I did make a collage.

I still get the “thrill of the hunt” even using sub-folders because I just now counted and I have 90 sub-folder albums.

Do pictures of my dog count? I have more pictures of her than my wife.
