Articles designed to raise the ire of most collectors

Of course I have my doubts that an article such as this was written by a human at all; but in any case, always good for a chuckle. They'll extrapolate what's true for many coins ("most wheat cents aren't worth much") to ALL such coins ("go ahead and ignore any wheat cents you come across.") Among the items that aren't worth collecting, per the article:

Wheat cents
Indian Head cents
Barbies
Hot Wheels
Baseball Cards
Pokemon Cards
Stamps

... and so forth. "Enjoy"...

Wow! That is pretty funny. These kind of articles are around gathering advertising income. It’s nuts what people will read.

    From the article.

The image of the penny was then changed from the Indian Head cent to the Lincoln cent designed by Victor D. Brenner in 1901.<

Shows how much they really know about collecting coins.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

I think the correct year is 1907 but it could have been earlier. The sentence is ambiguous and may be referring to the date of the design. The article references later date Indians do they presumably know the change occurred in 1909.

I guess those responsible for the article need to hire the Facebook fact checkers... :D Cheers, RickO

.I could not find a date on the web earlier than 1907 for the design (of the plaque).
