I wanted to share this discovery to you guys , in hopes to validate my perspective of this being an error of some sort. All opinions are welcome..
This is a Bicentennial 1776-1976 S / Clad..

No discovery and no error.
Not an error.
Looks like someone has counterpunched a regular quarter with a S punch
to make it look like a 1976S proof quarter.
It would now be considered damage and worth 25 cents.
It's just a regular strike 1976-S silver clad quarter. They were sold in sets with the half dollar and dollar coins.

@ltorr201 it would be helpful in the future if you would explain what you see and why you think you see an error, that way everyone doesn't have to guess. I see nothing out of the ordinary with the mintmark, assuming that is what you are asking about.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
It's a regular coin with the "Blob S" mintmark.

Your photography is very good. Now, why don't you guess what I am thinking without me giving you much direction...
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
You're thinking that there is a 90 degree rotation error on the "second coin".
@ltorr201... Welcome aboard. Your coin is not an error. Excellent pictures though. Cheers, RickO
