Where do you think this morgan toner will close at?

Nice color bands, nice progression, not as vivid as I would like or could be the photo. Where do you think this toner will close at?

I think there are far too many marks to warrant the MS-64 grade. The toning is nice but I don’t see it going for much more than the current $201.50 bid.

Surf Toned is a solid seller ...might go for a bit more than the current 201.50

I regret losing out on a fabulous toner from Legend a couple weeks ago... it made this coin look sad. Like you said it could easily be the images but it's not really to my liking. I tend to like more vibrant toning personally.

For some reason eBayers overbid on toned Morgans - wouldn't be surprised IF it approached $300

When these POP that color goes for multiples.
This one appears somewhat dull and lifeless. Even so I'd imagine it'll close a bit over $300.

I think many of the perceived marks on the coin are toning breaks. Looks 64 to me. Toning MEH. Probably sell for around $325

    It is already overpriced.

Oh well - went for 224.50$

It seems no matter how colorful, or what the pattern looks like, collectors are paying for tarnish. I find that curious and surprising. Cheers, RickO

That toning is much too broken up and dull to command a significant premium, IMO. Pretty? I suppose, but not all that fantastic. I wouldn't have paid that amount for the coin.

Seller did well to get $224, that coin is not a 2.5x premium toner IMO.
