No more than AU with those bad pics. Are you even sure it's even real? Every date of this series has been very heavily counterfeited.

Awe come on, you can do better than that for focus and lighting.😉
I'm guessing someone else owns this coin and the OP is considering buying it. Looks like it's in an NGC, PCI, or small ANACS slab. It could be MS but it's impossible to determine from those really bad pics.

Those newer pics are better but not good enough for a definitive determination of grade but it looks like an AU55 or 58 coin.

I have to agree... without better pics and Bill Fivaz's book sitting next to me it's just a WAG... AU something was my first impression. It looks to be in either an NGC or ANACS holder (?) so I'm assuming it's real... I had a bit of a scare when I bought my quarter Eagle ...
Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;
As others have said, the picture quality has to be improved with better lighting and sharper focusing. As is, the best I can say is an AU grade as I see what I believe to be slight wear on the top of the eagle’s wing.

AU but recommend buying slabbed coins of this type as heavily CF.
It appears to already be in a NGC, old ANACS, or PCI slab.

Are these pics better?
Photo quality is too poor to estimate grade.

Even the second set of pictures are a tad blurry.... Not good enough to commit to a grade. Cheers, RickO

as if these aren't hard enough to grade in the first place...
