Dansco offering collectors a variety of methods of collecting Kennedy half dollars

I enjoy the variety of methods- even within the same series- Dansco offers.
For example, the Kennedy series can be collected within a Dansco Album in strictly business mint state. There is another album that allows the opportunity to collect the proof examples as well as the business strikes.

For a limited run, Dansco came out with a Kennedy album that was a somewhat 'type-set' for the Kennedy series, so to speak.
I'd imagine it was an chance for a collector to own rather easily a set of Kennedy half dollars without the full commitment to each and every date and mintmark.

I have several Dansco albums. Several years ago, I was looking for a Washington quarter Dansco 32-64. I couldn't find one. The only one I could find went to 1983, so I bought it and filled it.

I wish there was a place to go look for some of the older albums, just saying

I have had luck looking in coin shops. Especially while traveling. I was in Eugene a few weeks ago and spoke with the shop owner. He had the typical shrink wrapped newer albums (State quarters; Ike dollar, and such). After speaking with him he went and pulled out some used yet still in decent shape, albums from the back. Many times dealers will take in collections where some of the coins are housed in older Dansco albums.
I had my pick of about a dozen different ones and selected five.
Admittedly, the next day I went back and picked up three more.

Prices for Dansco albums on eBay are outrageous. I single page is more $$$ than what an album cost 5 years ago. I can't wait for them to get their act together and start production again.
That being said, I have 6 blank quarter pages I'd trade for 3 blank half dollar pages. ( I use a Brother label printer with the same font as the factory album ) Customize the page the way I want it.

I customize a blank small dollar page for the back of my 7070.

Well, this is the second thread I have seen in the last two days on the Kennedy half albums. I may have to get one, I have them all...and multiples as well. Maybe.... Cheers, RickO
